ABOUT US
Our Story
God has given our Pastor a vision to do a great work in Christ that brings glory to God, by way of preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and being a good help and service to the community.
By way of spiritual conviction, God led Pastor Lindsey into consecrated prayer for confirmation of a new work to call a local assembly together. After God giving Pastor Lindsey confirmation to start a new work, the name of the church was birth out of scripture (Matt. 21:42; Is. 28:16; Ps. 118:22; 1Peter 2:6-7; Acts 4:11; Eph. 2-19-22), and a confirmation that God gave Pastor and Sister Lindsey on October 8, 2020.
We are excited and committed to the call and vision that God has given our church!
Our Mission and Vision
The mission of the Cornerstone Christian Church is to make disciples throughout the world beginning in our community, and to equip the saints for the edification of the Kingdom.
Our vision is to reach the least, the lost, the left behind and the beloved of God by providing ministry that shows the love of Christ.
Our Name
The name “Cornerstone” evolves out of the historical experience that Jesus had on earth. He was the stone rejected by men, and through His death burial and resurrection, He has now become the head of the corner.
The term “Christian” is an expression of faith to identify those ones who are believers of God and followers of Jesus Christ.
The name “Church” was given by Jesus in (Matt 16:18) to identify those ones who are followers of Him, which are believers who come together in His name that makes up a local assembly that are a part of the body of Christ.
Our Purpose
The purpose of God giving birth to the Cornerstone Christian Church is to carry out the Great Commission of God, by way of preaching and teaching the Holy Scriptures to compel those ones who are lost to journey on the road that leads to Christ.
Our Goal
Our goal is to continue to be the Cornerstone of our community in meeting the needs of the people. Evangelizing and Giving Back to our community have given us the greatest joy. The
love that the community experience on the outside starts from the Love Culture we created on the inside. We plan to continue in Love, Fellowship and Worship. The innovation of Music,
Christian Drama, Praise Dance, Children’s Ministry and so much more are a great part of building families at Cornerstone. Our Goal is simple: “Take care of the in reach and the outreach
and Jesus will reach Everybody.”
